Hiraodai, Senbutsudo
One of the most outstanding karst plateaus in Japan, Hiraodai Plateau
features limestone rocks resembling large flocks of sheep, Senbutsu
Limestone Cavern, with a total length of 6km, has an underground river.

Ajisai Bath in Kawachi Hot Spring
Ajisai (Hydrangea) bath is a hot spring located in the Hobashira Nature
Park. Its open-air bath featuring Utase-yu or cascade massaging bath,
and Dokutsu-buro or cave bath commands a grand view of the peaks of
the surrounding mountain ranges. Visitors can enjoy viewing fireflies
in June. |

Strait Area
A sightseeing spot with both a rich history and beautiful
scenery, covering the combined area of Kitakyushu and the city of
Shimonoseki on both sides of the strait. |
Mojiko Station
Kaikyo
Dramaship
With "Kaikyo", or "strait" as its main theme,
the Kaikyo Dramaship is a museum, which provides visitors with dramatic
reenactments in the history and culture of the Kanmon area.

Old Moji Mitsui Club
Built in 1921 as a hospitality and accommodations facility
by the Mitsui Trading Corporation, the Moji Mitsui Club was one of
the places where Dr. Albert Einstein and his wife stayed during their
visit to Japan

The only sidewalk in Japan under a channel, this tunnel connects Kyushu
